CINCINNATI, Ohio — Miami Valley Christian Academy has announced its 2026 varsity football schedule, featuring 12 regular-season contests and six home games at MVCA All-Weather Field.
The Lions begin the season on the road Friday, Aug. 7, when they travel to Tomahawk Stadium to face Indian Hill at 6 p.m. MVCA will then return to Newtown for its home opener against Madeira on Aug. 14.
The opening month includes three road games in four weeks. Following the matchup with Madeira, the Lions travel to East Clinton on Aug. 21 and Clermont Northeastern on Aug. 28.
MVCA opens September with a home game against Deer Park on Sept. 4 before visiting Western Hills University on Sept. 11. The Lions then begin a stretch of familiar opponents when they host Summit Country Day on Sept. 18 and travel to Fayetteville-Perry on Sept. 25.
October features three consecutive home games. Cincinnati Country Day visits MVCA All-Weather Field on Oct. 2, followed by Lockland on Oct. 9. After a road game against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place on Saturday, Oct. 17, the Lions return home to close the regular season against New Miami on Oct. 23.
The 2026 roster includes several returning players from last season, including Jeremiah DesJardins, AJ Ardizzone, Aiden Frisby, Judah Walters, Asher Kananen, Aydin Sistrunk, Rickson Herrell, Caleb Scott, Layton Reeves, Blake Longstreth and Zach Holland.
MVCA also welcomes a large group of younger players to the program as the Lions prepare for the new season.
